ABOUT REIKI
Reiki - Japanese for ‘Universal life force energy’, is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that promotes balance, relaxation, and wellbeing on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. Developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early part of the 20th century, Reiki works by channelling healing energy through the hands of a trained practitioner to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
​Universal life force energy flows through all living things, and when it becomes low, blocked, or imbalanced, we may experience stress, pain, fatigue, or illness. Reiki helps to restore this energetic flow, bringing the body and mind into a state of balance and harmony.​
During a Reiki treatment, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body. Many clients describe sensations of warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of calm.

Reiki is a gift to be shared. Mikao Usui Sensei envisioned a world
greatly improved by the spread of the Reiki of the Universe.
ABOUT SUZANNE
I am a registered Reiki practitioner with the Reiki Guild, offering treatments in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. I have trained in the Usui Reiki Ryoho from Mikao Usui Sensei’s Japanese lineage which is the best and most effective Reiki training available, being as close as possible to Mikao Usui’s original teachings. I am dedicated to maintaining a high standard of practice and committed to ongoing professional development.​
Through understanding that our emotions, unconscious habits and beliefs impact the physical body, mind, and spirit, I have taken ownership of my own health and happiness. I understand that these elements are deeply interconnected and that we continuously shape and evolve our life’s experience through our thoughts and actions. Practicing Reiki has been the most profound spiritual journey for me which has enabled me to facilitate healing
in myself and in others.
